  3. No running, yelling or disruptive behavior.

  3. Ballet, Tap and Jazz Intermediate and Advanced Kids and Teens students are required to take an additional Ballet OR Jazz OR Lyrical Class.

Time Keeping

  1. Classes are constructed in a logical manner, starting with warming up and developing the necessary skills and muscles in order to improve technique. If a student is late for class and misses these exercises they are at risk of injury. Late arrivals are also very disruptive.

Attendance

  1. Please notify the studio by email or phone call if your child will be absent from class.
  2. Irregular attendance holds back the progress of both the student and the rest of the class. In order for the learning experience to be a positive one, it is important that students attend class regularly.
  3. A student with an injury or who is not well enough to participate should still observe class if possible, as much can be learned by watching.

Schedule Changes

  1. Our teachers are also choreographers and performers. Other commitments may take them away from class on occasion. Where possible substitute teachers will be used rather than classes cancelled.
  2. In case of class cancellation by Dancenter, a make-up class will be proposed to students at a different time and day.
  3. In case of unforeseen event forcing our physical studio to close, online classes might substitute regular classes.

Make-Up Class Policy

  1. Students who will miss a class due to sickness can ask for a makeup class within the month following teachers’ recommendation. Please inform reception 1 week in advance.
  2. During the performance term, make up classes for Kids and Teens must be arranged before March or after the shows only.

IF you choose pick-up, please make sure that you are on time to pick-up your child, and that they do not go home with anyone else without your knowledge.
Students who are not picked up by 10 minutes after class will be directed to the office to call for parents.
