TY BUI

For Ty Bui, teaching dance isn’t just about steps or routines, it’s about creating spaces where kids and teens can express, explore, and rediscover themselves. A class can be a safe space, a creative lab, or a moment of challenge and growth. She is constantly inspired by these spaces and the energy students bring, and she hopes to offer them the same spark of inspiration in return.

Ty Bui's been fortunate to train at Summer Camp Dance Jam with world-class artists such as Kirsten Dodgen, Todd Williamson, Kiel Tutin, Sean Lew, Rie Hata, Larkyn Poynton, Haeni Kim, and Sam Javi, whose artistry and discipline continue to shape her own. As a former member of EVA Dance Company and Game On Crew, she’s developed a strong sense of collaboration and creative vision through diverse, multicultural communities.

To Ty Bui, dance is not just performance; it’s an honest dialogue between emotion, rhythm, and human connection. Through every class and project, she aims to inspire confidence, creativity, and joy in her students.
