This summer, join Xoay for a special Contemporary Dance Workshop designed for intermediate and advanced dancers who want to build strength, movement efficiency, and greater confidence in floorwork.

As part of Dancenter’s Summer Adult Workshop Series 2026, this workshop invites adults to stay active, learn new skills, and experience different dance styles throughout the summer. Each workshop offers a new opportunity to challenge yourself, meet fellow dancers, and continue growing both technically and artistically.
About the Workshop
Join Xoay for an intensive session focused on leveraging gravity, fluid transitions, and explosive power.
Dancers will explore the seamless relationship between dynamic floorwork and standing movement while learning to optimize energy and control. Through guided exercises and movement exploration, dancers will learn how to move with confidence, maximize energy efficiency, and expand their physical and artistic capabilities.
Challenge your boundaries and elevate your artistry in this Intermediate/Advanced Contemporary workshop.
Note: This workshop is suitable for intermediate and advanced dancers. Long sleeves and pants are highly recommended for floorwork comfort.

About the Artist
"I am passionate about dance and believe that it is not only an art form, but also a great source of inspiration in my life and for society."
Xoay's journey into dance took a major turn when she competed in Season 2 of So You Think You Can Dance Vietnam, finishing as one of the Top 4 finalists. From 2014 to 2018, she was a member of UDG, where she trained in a variety of styles, including Ballet and Jazz, under the guidance of John Huy Tran, Sabra Johnson, and Linh Rateau.
Xoay also served as a teaching assistant to renowned choreographer Hani Abaza during the Art and Soul Dance Company Summer Camp in Canada in 2018. Later, she participated in a six-month Dance Exchange Program in Korea, studying Contemporary Dance with twelve different teachers and performing at international dance festivals in Seoul, Sejong, and Cheonan.
Today, Xoay continues to share her passion for movement through teaching, performance, and creative exploration.

Summer Adult Workshop Series 2026 invites adult dancers to stay active, inspired, and connected through dance all summer long. Held every Saturday from June 27 to August 22, the series features a variety of dance styles led by experienced teachers.
Whether you're looking to try something new, strengthen your technique, or simply enjoy moving with others, each workshop offers a welcoming space to learn, grow, and dance through the summer.
