This summer, join John Huy Tran for a special Jazz Fusion Workshop designed for intermediate and advanced dancers who want to challenge their musicality, expand their movement vocabulary, and explore a dynamic fusion of jazz styles.
As part of Dancenter’s Summer Adult Workshop Series 2026, this workshop invites adults to stay active, learn new skills, and experience different dance styles throughout the summer. Each workshop offers a new opportunity to challenge yourself, meet fellow dancers, and continue growing both technically and artistically.
About the Workshop
Step into an energetic and creative class where John Huy Tran draws from his personal movement vocabulary, blending his favorite jazz influences into one exciting fusion choreography.
Throughout the workshop, dancers will explore contrasting movement qualities, from sleek and controlled to explosive and playful, while developing musicality, dynamic transitions, grounded movement, and performance skills.
Designed for experienced dancers, this workshop is an opportunity to challenge both your creativity and physical endurance while enjoying the freedom of movement.

About the Artist
Dancing for me is all about sharing, creating, and having fun. My classes are energetic and versatile, and I guarantee an environment that is open, honest, and free.
Since moving to Vietnam in 2006, John Huy Tran has collaborated with numerous dance groups, companies, and many of the country's leading artists in dance, entertainment, and the performing arts. He has choreographed for many well-known Vietnamese celebrities and continues to teach students of all ages and experience levels.
John's expertise spans Dance, Gymnastics, Acro, Martial Arts, and Fitness. He is also a dance producer, professional television judge, choreographer, and performance advisor for many popular television programs, including So You Think You Can Dance Vietnam, Dance Your Fat Off, Vietnam Idol, Buoc Nhay Xitin, Buoc Nhay Hoan Vu, Cap Doi Hoan Hao, Hop Ca Tranh Tai, Vietnam's Got Talent, The Winner Is, and many more.
John is also the co-founder of Urban Dance Group (UDG), a professional dance company made up of dancers from diverse backgrounds and widely recognized as one of Vietnam's leading professional dance groups, founded at Dancenter Vietnam.
About Summer Adult Workshop Series 2026
Summer Adult Workshop Series 2026 invites adult dancers to stay active, inspired, and connected through dance all summer long. Held every Saturday from June 27 to August 22, the series features a variety of dance styles led by experienced teachers.
Whether you're looking to try something new, strengthen your technique, or simply enjoy moving with others, each workshop offers a welcoming space to learn, grow, and dance through the summer.
