Step into a transformative week of ballet training at Dancenter. With 20 hours of intensive training per week, this camp is designed for dedicated young dancers ready to refine their technique, deepen their artistry, and experience the discipline of professional-level training.
Program Overview
Technical Excellence
Ballet Technique: Daily classes focusing on core fundamentals and execution
Stretching: Targeted sessions designed to improve placement, flexibility, and turnout
Artistic Development
Variation & Repertoire: Learning established choreography to develop style and phrasing
Mime Class: Held every two days to build performance and storytelling skills
Ballet History: Providing context to deepen students’ connection to the art form
Schedule
Week 1: June 29 – July 3
Week 2: July 6 – July 10
Mon–Fri: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Showcase & Ceremony: Friday, 6:45 PM – 7:30 PM
Program Details
Ages: 10–17 (strong ballet foundation required)
Levels: Intermediate & Advanced
Duration: 5 days (Mon–Fri)
Final Showcase: Friday evening performance for family and friends
Placement Process: Students will be assessed on Day 1 and placed into Intermediate or Advanced levels by our faculty.
Faculty
Mr. Joost Gribbling: From the Netherlands, former professional ballet dancer with the Bavarian State Ballet (Munich, Germany), with 30+ years of international teaching experience
Ms. Anna Guerresi: Italian ballerina, trained at the Vaganova Academy and graduated from the Accademia Teatro alla Scala
Ms. Linh Rateau: ATOD-affiliated ballet teacher and Director of Dancenter, with 25 years of experience
Mr. John Huy Tran: Choreographer & show producer | Judge at national competitions | Director of UDG (Urban Dance Group) Vietnam
