Workshop 1: “How to Fly” – Jazz with Sabra Johnson
About the Workshop

The journey begins with “How to Fly”, a Jazz workshop led by Sabra Johnson, inviting dancers to explore the freedom of flight through movement and emotion. Come dance with Sabra as you discover the latest EVA regimen and soar into the next level of Jazz.
The session begins with a classic Jazz warm-up that combines strength, flexibility, and control. Next, dancers will take flight through across-the-floor progressions, exploring leaps, jetés, and transitions that build power and elevation. Finally, Sabra will guide participants through a new choreography, encouraging freedom, emotion, and full-bodied movement, a chance to truly fly in your dance journey.
This is not just a class, it’s an experience of energy, artistry, and transformation.
About Sabra Johnson
Sabra Johnson is an internationally acclaimed dancer, choreographer, and educator, celebrated for her artistry, precision, and inspiring presence both on stage and in the studio.
Sabra hails from Utah, USA and was the winner of “So You Think You Can Dance” Season 3 at just 19 years old. Since then, she has danced with renowned companies and taught across the globe. Deeply influenced by America’s traditional forms of entertainment, Jazz and Vaudeville, Sabra brings drama, excitement, and humor to every performance.
In 2020, she founded EVA Dance Company, where she has directed and produced acclaimed productions such as EVA: Le Début, Jackfruit Burlesque Show, Đi Đâu?, EVA: Grow 2025, and Murder at the Masquerade.
Through her dance journey, Sabra shares a wealth of experience and a deeply embodied approach to Jazz technique and performance. At EVA Dance Company, she continues to mentor and train dancers to discover their full potential through technique, musicality, and expressive storytelling.
Workshop 2: “Contemporary and Its Many Feels” – with Daisee
About the Workshop

Continue your journey with “Contemporary and Its Many Feels”, led by Daisee, a class that invites dancers to explore the layers of human experience through movement. In this session, participants will learn an excerpt from EVA’s premiere contemporary piece, “Đi Đâu?” , a work that left audiences reflecting on human evolution and where it might lead next.
The workshop begins with a guided improvisation warm-up, encouraging you to explore your own movement vocabulary and reconnect with your body in an authentic way. Next, you’ll engage in task-oriented partnering and group exercises designed to build trust, presence, and a sense of shared expression. Finally, Daisee will teach an original choreography from “Đi Đâu?”, you’ll have the chance to twist, reshape, and reimagine that movement, transforming it into something uniquely your own.
About Daisee
Daisee is an artist from EVA Dance Company, who began her dance journey in 2020. For her, dance is more than movement, it is a language of emotion and expression, a way to translate thoughts and feelings into physical form. Her passion lies in performing, creating, and teaching, where she finds inspiration both in the art itself and in the meaningful connections it creates.
