BIOGRAPHY: FU LE – TETRAPODE COMPANY (cie-tetrapode.com)
Fu LE is a filmmaker and choreographer, director of the Tetrapode dance company in France. Graduated in sculpture at the Art Crafts National School in Paris, he then trained in contemporary dance Switzerland and Taiwan, questioning social issues linked with urbanization. He is now evolving on the edge between dance and video, and brings visual arts to the intimacy of bodily sensations.

WORKSHOP TIMELINE:
– From 9am to 11am: Dance workshop:
After a physical warm up based on body manipulations, we will go through floorwork phrases, then improvisation tasks in order to find your own expression. The workshop is open to any experienced mover (dance, circus, physical theater).
– From 11am to 12pm: Discussion time
We will watch some dance films made by Fu Le, and discuss about the possibilities of collaboration for those who are interested to.

PROJECT: A DANCE FILM IN SADEC
Invited by the Villa Saigon (French Institute) in December and January, Fu Le plan to do some experiments in the brickyards of Sadec (Mekong), by making a short and experimental dance film in Sadec and Saigon. Fu Le is willing to collaborate with some performers to participate in the research and play in the film. Any connection with Sadec county are welcome.
