Contemporary Dance Workshops: Move With Meaning This Summer

About Contemporary Dance Workshops 2025:

This summer at Dancenter, we invite you to rediscover your body as an instrument of artistry and presence. Our two contemporary dance workshops - Fundamentals of Contemporary Explorations and Contemporary Explorations - are designed for movers of all levels to dive into dynamic sequencing, breath-led intention, and joyful physical expression.

Both workshops will explore dynamic body sequencing, kinetic meditations, and fluid movement through space - including floorwork. Through imagery, task-based prompts, and breath-body connection, participants will deepen their relationship with themselves and uncover new movement possibilities at the intersection of discipline, curiosity, and the pure joy of dancing.

  • Fundamentals of Contemporary Explorations Perfect for beginners or anyone new to contemporary dance, this workshop offers a warm and welcoming space to explore movement in a supportive environment. Open to all – no experience needed!

  • Contemporary Explorations Ideal for anyone eager to explore contemporary dance more deeply — whether you're starting fresh or building on previous experience. Open to all – no experience needed!

Note: You do not need to attend the Fundamentals workshop to join this one.
