A deep-dive experience crafted for advanced dancers and movement practitioners seeking new creative ground.
About Workshop
This session will take participants on a rich journey through floorwork, improvisation, and choreographic exploration - blending sensitivity with physical intensity.

Together, we will:
Explore the body’s dialogue with the ground - Why do we go to the floor? How do we land with both intention and freedom?
Play, improvise, and share physical states that shift from water-like flow to fire-like energy.
Learn choreography rooted in spontaneity and emotional expression.
Experiment with tools and exercises drawn from Lệ Hà Ashley’s own practice, which integrates contemporary dance, breakdance, music, yoga, and theater.
We will compose from the present moment, listening closely to the changing states of our bodies - and always leaving room for the unexpected.
Important Note:
We recommend wearing clothes that cover your shoulders and knees. It's also a good idea to bring knee pads if you have them.

About Artist
Lệ Hà Ashley is a young dancer and choreographer - and more recently, an actress, singer, and author.

Born in France to Vietnamese and Indian parents, Lệ Hà is as multifaceted in life as she is in her art. Her practice blends theater, voice, rhythm, acting, and movement, ranging from sensitive to explosive. She seeks a hybrid of contemporary dance, hip-hop (new style, breakdance), and traditional Vietnamese dance - a conscious balance between these worlds, with a touch of madness.
She has worked with hip-hop, contemporary, and even offbeat cabaret companies. Most recently, she founded her own company, SÁO SAO, which produces multidisciplinary and tragicomic works exploring themes such as cultural origins, the experience of being in-between, intergenerational bonds, transgenerational memory, and the roles of women and elders.
